Trip Info

Jackson Hole is home to Snake River Cutthroat trout, a native strain of fish that eagerly take big, dry flies from the surface. Cutthroat average in size from 8 to 15 inches, with many growing to 24 inches.

A guided float trip on the Snake River offers miles of world- class fly fishing, allowing anglers to fish cut banks, long riffles, pools and many braided side channels.

Teton Fly Fishing offers full- and half-day float fishing trips on the Snake River. All trips include:

  • Transportation to and from your lodging in my clean, nonsmoking vehicle
  • All fishing gear (Winston rods, reels, leaders, flies, etc.)
  • Full day trips include a hearty streamside lunch, while half-day trips include drinks and snacks

  • * A Wyoming fishing license is not included.
Full Day (8 hours, 1 or 2 people) $450
Half Day (4 hours, 1 or 2 people) $375

Although fishing the Snake River is certainly the most popular fishing option while staying in Jackson Hole, I am also happy to take you fishing on the Salt and/or Green Rivers. These rivers offer additional angling opportunities, not only for Cutthroat trout, but also for Brown and Rainbows. Keep in mind that there is an hour drive to get to these rivers.

Full Day (8 hours, 1 or 2 people) $500

And lastly, walk-in trips are also available. If you're more experienced, this is a great way to sight fish to individual rising fish. These are also great if you'd like extensive fly fishing lessons, with the slow pace of fishing a small, intimate spring creek.

(4-5 hours, 1 or 2 people) $400
*each additional person $100

In order to confirm a reservation, a deposit of 50 percent is required. If you need to cancel prior to 30 days, I'll refund your deposit.
